Dade County Genealogical Society

Mission & Purpose

The Dade County (Missouri) Genealogical Society was founded in 1990. The Society objectives are to collect, preserve, and disseminate genealogical knowledge and information, particularly that material that deals with Dade County, Missouri. The Society also provides materials, volunteers and support for the Warren Room Collection of the Dade County Public Library. The Society is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) educational and cultural organization. Contributions, gifts and endowments are tax deductible. 
DCGS Meetings
With the exception of December and inclement weather, the Society meets on the third Tuesday of each month at 7:00 pm in the Warren Room of the Dade County Library, 209 South Main Street, Greenfield, Missouri 65661. The general public is welcome to attend any meetings.
