Dade County Genealogical Society

Mission & Purpose

The Dade County (Missouri) Genealogical Society was founded in 1990. The Society objectives are to collect, preserve, and disseminate genealogical knowledge and information, particularly that material that deals with Dade County, Missouri. The Society also provides materials, volunteers and support for the Warren Room Collection of the Dade County Public Library. The Society is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) educational and cultural organization. Contributions, gifts and endowments are tax deductible. 
 
 
DCGS Meetings
Meetings are normally held quarterly on the first Tuesday at 3:00 p.m. at the Dade County Library, 209 S. Main Street, Greenfield, MO 65661. The general public is welcome to attend any meeting.
